"Jerry is irreplaceable."

Besides this I doubt there's much else in the world we all can agree on, but I doubt anyone on this forum would argue with that sentiment.

I don't know why it is, but it doesn't bother me to listen to DSO or any other band for that matter play Dead (specifically Jerry) songs, I guess because I just take it for what it is--a band playing a cover song.

But for some inexplicable reason, when I listen to Further / The Other Ones / The Dead / whatever name their calling themselves these days, and I hear Bobby or Phil sing a Jerry song, I just can't enjoy it. Nothing against Bobby or Phil, they're entitled to do whatever they want, but personally I just don't enjoy hearing them sing Jerry songs. I 'd much rather hear them sing anything else.

But I do agree, Phil bass sounds great! I truly love Phil, I just wish he's sing his songs but otherwise stick to what he does best, playing lead bass and dropping bombs but leave the singing to others.
